Ambassadors Support Local

If you read our recent blog posts about local farmers’ markets or patios, those are thanks to our Upper West Side PHX Ambassadors! Our Ambassadors are a group of local volunteers dedicated to helping support and promote local shops, restaurants, events, and entertainment in our community. They are our eyes and ears in the community when we can't be everywhere we want to be. Each ambassador comes with his or her unique background, yet they are all passionate about their community and the Upper West Side!

Recently, we gathered at V’s Taproom in Vistancia for happy hour and to meet one another. We enjoyed $3 off appetizers and discounted drinks for happy hour. Our favorites were the wings, bruschetta, nachos, and Strawberry Smash cocktail made with local vodka! This was the perfect location to plan and discuss upcoming ideas for our community while enjoying the misted patio overlooking the golf course. Thank you to the staff at V's for hosting us! We came up with a lot of great ideas so be on the lookout for more blog posts about fun local events and exciting new spots to check out! A few upcoming topics include the best places to watch football, holiday happenings, all things pumpkin spice, and more Fall favorites!

In addition to blogging, Ambassadors help at Upper West Side PHX events, share photos and ideas, and give us different perspectives on the community. They keep us informed of community events and groups we might not be aware of otherwise. They share info about the Upper West Side movement in their neighborhoods and with other groups they are part of. Their efforts help us grow, which is essential to the success of this movement. If you’ve followed us for a long time, you know that we truly believe in “strength in numbers” and that a large following will show specialty shops and restaurants that Upper West Siders want and will support them! Thank you to all of our Ambassadors that have stepped up to the plate to help us spread the word about our awesome community and reach our goals!
