Check out the latest renderings for Sunrise Promenade! Sunrise Promenade is the new shopping complex by Thompson Thrift Retail Group being built at "Four Corners" anchored by Aldi. They just began construction and will open mid-2019. The city is also currently installing a sidewalk on the east side of Lake Pleasant Pkwy. from Deer Valley Rd. to Happy Valley Rd. (approximately) so many of you will be able to walk to Sunrise Promenade once it opens. We're super excited about this addition to our community!
In addition to Aldi anchoring the plaza, other tenants will include: Black Rock Coffee Company, North 40 Grill, Jabz Boxing (female only boxing), and Sherwin Williams. They are currently in talks to secure other tenants as well, so stay tuned for details in the coming months. If you have not already heard, Flix Brewhouse is NOT opening because Flix was unable to come to a lease agreement. The good news is that the complex has a GREAT space still available that is able to accommodate a restaurant with a patio that is attached to a courtyard! We're working with the developer to ensure that this prime spot goes to a deserving tenant! If you know of a cool restaurant concept looking to open on the Upper West Side, please put them in contact with the developer. You can see this PRIME space in the renderings below!
If you're wondering where exactly Sunrise Promenade will be, it will be on the east side of Lake Pleasant Pkwy. just south of Happy Valley across from Starbucks and next to the Shell Gas Station. Behind the complex will be Sunrise Village, a high-end gated rental community with single and two story attached and detached units. We expect Aldi to bring a lot of customers to the complex with their modern store design and focus on healthy food that rivals Whole Foods but at a much lower cost according to many recent articles. We're glad it's finally officially Fall, even if only by a date in the calendar, and we're looking forward to all the new businesses that are coming to the Upper West Side in 2019!
